# Creating and Editing a Dashboard in Passcreator

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to create and edit a dashboard in Passcreator. It covers how to create a dashboard, add rows and widgets, and customize the layout. It also explains how to add analytics charts, view active passes history, and add buttons to the dashboard. Additionally, it provides an optional step on how to set the dashboard as the default view after logging in. 1. Navigate to [https://app.passcreator.com/en/dashboard/show](https://app.passcreator.com/en/dashboard/show)

2. Click "Manage Dashboards"

3. Click "CREATE A DASHBOARD"
  

4. Enter a name, specify the type and select if the Dashboard should be shown in the menu.

5. Click "SAVE"

6. You'll now see your newly created Dashboard where you can add rows and Widgets.  
To add a row, click "+ ADD ROW"

7. Select your layout. You can choose the number of columns.

8. You'll now see the rows you've created.  
Click "+ ADD WIDGET"

9. Select the type of Widget. You can choose between:

- **Analytics**  
Add a Chart based on a segment or query
- **Active passes history of your account**  
Available only to Account Admins
- Button  
Add a button to your Dashboard. You can choose to link to any URL, within Passcreator or outside.

10.  If you choose an Analytics Widget, you'll be redirected to the Analytics module where you can configure your Chart based on Segments.

11.  Click "Segments"

12.  Select a Segment.

13.  Select the aggregate field and optionally timeframe and interval. Click "Reload" to apply your changes.

14.  If you're happy with the results, enter a Widget title and click on "Add to Dashboard".

15.  When you're done adding your Widgets, disable the Edit mode on the upper right.

16.  OPTIONAL  
To show your dashboard after logging in, edit your Dashboard.

17.  Click "EDIT"

18.  Enable "Use as default" and Save the changes.

19.  After logging in, you'll be automatically redirected to your Dashboard by default.
