## Step 1: Adding the Connection

1. In your Passcreator account, go to Workflows
2. Go to the "Apps" section. Click the "Add a connection" button.

3. Select Shopify from the drop-down list or use the search bar.
4. Click the "Add a connection" button.

5. Set a name for your connection. This is optional but can help you avoid confusion if you have multiple Shopify accounts.
6. Enter your Store URL and Access Token. You'll obtain these from your Shopify website in the next step.
7. Click the "Continue" button.

## Step 2: Obtaining Store URL and Access Token

To connect Shopify to Passcreator, you'll need your Store URL and Access Token. This process involves accessing your Shopify Admin and creating a custom app.

1. Sign in to your Shopify account.
2. Copy your Store URL from the address bar.

### Activate Shopify Custom API and create a private app to get your Access Token.

- Click on the "Apps" section.

- Go to "App and sales channel settings".

- Click the "Develop apps" button.

### Enable API access if you haven't enabled it before.

- Click the "Allow custom app development" button.

- Confirm API activation.

### Create a new app.

- Click the "Create an app" button.
- Set a name for your app (e.g., "Passcreator").
- Click the "Create app" button.


### Configure Admin API scopes.

- Click on "Configure Admin API scopes".

- Check the following boxes:
  - Customers

- Draft Orders

- Orders

- Store content

- Click the "Save" button.


### Install the app to generate an Access Token.

- Go to the "API credentials" section.
- Click the "Install app" button.

- Click the "Reveal token once" button to view and copy your Access Token.

**Important: If you leave this page without copying the token, it will not be available again, and you'll have to create a new app.**

- Paste the Access Token into the Passcreator connection field and click the "Continue" button.
- Your connection is ready! You can now start setting up integrations and automations to enhance your shopify store's functionality.
