Both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet support contactless redemption of passes. The technology behind that is called Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap.

The common prerequisite is that you need a NFC reader that supports these protocols. The Passcreator Smart Scan App supports a selected range of NFC readers but you can also choose to integrate readers from another vendor.
