This document describes how you can set up an integration that exports data of a template to your FTP server on a regular basis.

## Setting up the Integration

### Specify an FTP account

You first need to specify the information about the FTP server where Passcreator will download the files that include information about the passes. To do this go to "Integrations" and "Connected accounts" in the menu (or click here: [https://app.passcreator.com/integration/connectedaccounts)](https://app.passcreator.com/integration/connectedaccounts).  
Specify the data the application is asking for. Specifically you need the following data:

- Hostname of your FTP server
- Port
- Username
- Password
- If SFTP should be used, you need to enable the checkbox to use SSL

### Set up an integration

Now that Passcreator knows how to connect to your FTP server, you need to tell it what data to export and where it should be uploaded to.  
To do this, go to "Integrations" in the menu (or use this link: [https://app.passcreator.com/integration/index)](https://app.passcreator.com/integration/index). Then click on "Create new integration".

Make sure to select "FTP Job" as type and specify the following data:

- Name - a name that allows you to identify the Integration
- Type: in this case it's “Job to upload CSV with pass data to FTP”
- Pass template: the template you want to export data for
- FTP Account: the FTP account that you've specified in the first step
- Upload path: the path to the folder where Passcreator should upload the file to
- File name: the name of the file that will be uploaded
- Only export passes that were created within: only passes that were created in that timeframe will be exported.
- Export every: job will be executed every X days

After you click on "Save" Passcreator will set up a job according to the data you specified. You can check the results in the integration log.

## Ad hoc execution

In the list view of your existing integrations, you’ll see a button “Show description”.  
If you click on it, you have the option to run the export now and to reset the interval by scheduling it for tomorrow.

## Enable Performance-Optimized format

In Passcreator there are two export formats. The legacy format only allows for exports up to 50.000 passes. The Performance-Optimized format is unlimited. Make sure to enable the optimized format. If you’re using a Passcreator Account that was created before April 2024, you’ll need to enable this setting in the company settings of your account (direct link: [https://app.passcreator.com/en/customer/edit](https://app.passcreator.com/en/customer/edit))
